3. Dial 9. This is done to make an external call or fax.
4. Next, dial 011. This is the international access code for India. Whenever you make a call or fax to another country, you are required to dial a specific international access code. Each country has a unique access code.
5. Dial 91. This is the country code for India.
6. Dial city code for Indian city that you need to send fax to. Each city in India has a three or four digit code called STD code.
7. Dial the local fax machine number that you wish to send fax to. This is just like a phone number.
8. After you dial the fax number, press “Send.” You will get a typical fax processing sound. When the fax is sent successfully, the fax machine gives a confirmation message.  Some fax machines provide detailed status report for fax sent.
